The title track on the Songs of Zion riddim from the mighty Ras Charmer. Ras Charmer came to the attention of many through his blazing live performances as a youth in and around Kingston.

By 2000 he was performing at the internationally acclaimed Sting and the Trinidadian Love Ting alongside the likes of Capleton, Luciano, Bounty Killer, Elephant Man, Bushman and Black Uhuru. His debut album "No Mystery" on Togetherness Records produced by Sly and Robbie and Steelie and Cleevie has been receiving praise from press and critics alike, deservedly comparing his style and delivery akin to artists such as Junior Kelly or an early Sizzla.

Ras Charmer features on nuff riddim albums alongside Sizzla, Anthony B, Norrisman, et al. and his videos have been popular on Caribbean TV networks. Ras Charmer also has a yet to be released track in combination with the late crown prince of Reggae, Dennis Brown and worked extensively in Switzerland releasing tracks on the Reggae Fever label.

Songs of Zion, the title track on the riddim, is a prime example of Charmers finest work, with his tuff yet soulful delivery accentuating the power of Charmers chant.
